Professor Clarence Bayne, better known as "Clarey" has launched his book, a volume of poetry titled Windows to the Soul -- with a little help from Black Theatre Workshop.
The BTW artistic director Tyrone Benskin, Tamara Brown, Pat Dillon, and Gazette columnist Bill Brownstein read some of Bayne's poems at an invitation-only held at Mango Bay restaurant on Bishop Street. will probably get you an invite. The book, described as "A collection of poems on life, purpose, being, turmoil, beauty, love and art" is published by the Black Writers' Guild (Quebec).
