About The Black Studies Centre

The Black Studies Centre is a specialist in social and private enterprise managementpartnering and supporting the mission and mandate of:
  • Black Community Resource Center (BCRC)
  • Quebec Board of Black Educators (QBBE)
  • Black Theatre Workshop (BTW)
  • Institute for Community Entrepreneurship and Development (ICED), Concordia.
Values and Relationships The Black Studies Centre and sister specialist organization, the Quebec Board of Black Educators are affiliates of the Black Community Resource Centre and support a holistic approach to community development. The Black Studies Centre is committed to the principle of community development based on organizational specialization, agreed on among all organizations at the 1992 Val Morin Black Community Forum.
